Client: Venture Christian Church
Producer: Aaron Williams
Design and Illustration: Joe Cavazos
Services: Motion Design, Editing
Discovery
For their Easter service, Venture Christian Church wanted to create an opening video that felt powerful and distinct—something that would set the tone for worship while honoring the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They brought on Joe Cavazos for illustration and partnered with Invisible Element to animate the piece as part of a fully integrated experience, complete with original score and narration.
Process
This was a deeply collaborative effort. Joe provided a series of expressive, textured illustrations that balanced reverence with visual boldness.
Venture provided a heartfelt voiceover and custom score, while Invisible Element handled the motion direction—pacing the story’s rhythm with transitions, reveals, and type treatments that gave weight to each line of narration. After Effects was used to animate every scene with care and restraint, allowing the story and artwork to shine.
Solution
The final piece opened the Easter service with a striking blend of illustration, sound, and motion—guiding viewers through the emotional arc of Christ’s death and resurrection.
Used during Venture’s in-person and online services, the video helped frame the moment with both spiritual gravity and creative intention.
