Discovery

To promote energy efficiency in the communities it serves, PSO developed an Energy Saver Kit aimed at elementary students—distributed across eastern and southwestern Oklahoma.

Partnering with Medium Giant, the team needed visual content that could help young audiences understand and get excited about energy conservation. Enter Cade, PSO’s mascot, and his energetic sidekicks—the Watts.

Process

Invisible Element was responsible for character illustration and development across various scenes in the kit. The approach emphasized warmth, approachability, and fun—bringing Cade and the Watts to life in a way that felt visually rich without being overly complex. Each illustration was crafted to spark curiosity, support the educational message, and encourage interaction.

Results

The final artwork helped transform the Energy Saver Kit into something more than just a handout—it became a tool for engagement. With colorful characters and approachable storytelling, the illustrations supported PSO’s goal of promoting energy-saving habits in classrooms and communities.
