Project Gigaton
Question
How do we turn a complex sustainability goal into a story that actually connects with suppliers?
Solution
Invisible Element expanded on Walmart’s existing brand visuals to deliver clear, approachable animation that brought the Project Gigaton message to life.

Discovery
Walmart’s Project Gigaton is an ambitious initiative to reduce one billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from its global value chain by 2030.
To spread awareness and drive supplier participation, the company needed a video that explained the program in a way that felt engaging, informative, and on-brand. Creative Filter led the project and brought in Invisible Element to handle animation and visual storytelling.
Process
Working within an established internal art direction, Invisible Element created supplemental illustration assets in Adobe Illustrator and handled all animation in After Effects.
The visual approach was designed to blend seamlessly with Walmart’s existing brand language while making space for moments of warmth, energy, and clarity. Transitions were carefully paced to support a friendly voiceover script and highlight key areas of supplier impact, from energy and packaging to deforestation and emissions targets.
Solution
The final video brought Project Gigaton’s mission to life with smooth animation, accessible visuals, and a clear call to action. Housed on Walmart’s Sustainability Hub, the piece helped suppliers understand how they could contribute to a larger climate goal—turning a complex initiative into a compelling and collaborative story.
